It is a photograph, silver gelatin print.

It is the lower half of what i think is an older mann, with a leash of a dog in his hand, the dog is jumping, it is in black and white.

The coat looks rather large for the man, it seems to be a stolen moment on the streets of Paris.

When I see this image I cannot help but smile, it makes me feel happy, the photograph is mounted in a black frame.

When I think about this object I imagine it in a grand drawing room or library, perhaps a stately building, surrounded by history, books, artefacts and trinkets.
